why do i have to wait?!

Ok, ok so why:

Simply put, sun exposure and/or a tan make the skin more sensitive. This can potentially result in burns, hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin) or hypopigmentation (lightening of the skin). It can also make the laser less accurate, and potentially make it not target the hair follicle effectively.

So, if you are coming back from a hot holiday or a weekend at the lake make sure to be honest with your Aesthetician and push that appointment to a later date. Your future self will thank you for being patient and responsible with your treatments.
